Arts comes from the heart, Science comes from the head. When the heart and the head crosses over, that's the sweet spot.

The Llangollen Castle Street had an arts exhibition last year with the local community created quilts to grand us peace during COVID lockdown.
Emotion is more than a pinch of salt in a negotiation. It engages deep subconstious beliefs and unleashes imagionation. A bigger picture will be inspired and helps people to move into a longer-term perspective.
Imagine you are negotiating a change for your orgnisation with your boss. Instead of talking about it, you can use images, graphics, an metaphor, a story to visual it instead.
Think of a powerful image either you or others created. What was the message for you? How did it make you feel? What was changed since you saw the image? How would you frame it in a story to tell someone your experience?
Now, think of the organisational change you want to talk to your boss about. Which art form will help present your idea? Which senses would your idea most appeal to? For example, can you find a song to talk about this problem?
Negotiation is a creative process, do not be afraid of being wrong. Think about the problem artistically. What are the problems with the existing sight, the smell? the touch? the sound? the emotion? What can you and others do to make it better?
Story telling is another way to make negotiation easy. Can you frame your problem into a story? Who is the hero, who is the vallain, who is the helper, what other characters play a part? What resolution would you like to see? How would your new story be different if your resolution did work?
