The good news is that many large organisations now rely upon, and indeed seek a multicultural workforce for the many benefits it brings to an organisation. But it doesn’t come without challenges.
Moving to a different culture can be difficult. Things we used to take for granted can be vastly different, and adjusting to a new culture whilst exciting, can also be a scary endeavour.
For the organisation too, they can find having a multi-cultural workforce challenging. Most of us gain our understanding and beliefs about management and leadership in our original countries, So to adjust to a new style of leadership can be difficult and frustrating.
